Small Patients, Huge Advances:
Pediatric Nurses Make It Possible

Ranked #6 in the nation, #1 in New York City in the U.S. News & World Report “America’s Top Hospitals” survey.

For nurses at New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, every moment – and every patient – is precious. Talented PCICU and PICU nurses deliver around-the-clock care for over 1,900 children annually, using advanced support technology not commonly found in pediatric settings. Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), ventricular assist devices, and continuous video EEG are just some of the systems we employ. Each tool enhances nurses’ uncanny ability to detect even the slightest changes—and makes our unit a destination-of-choice for pediatric intensive care.

Since performing the first successful pediatric heart transplant in 1984, we’ve continued to treat high-risk patients other centers are unequipped to help. Today, we’re ranked among the nation’s top ten pediatric hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. Our nurses work closely with families to create a healing environment. We utilize top technology, practicing with confidence and compassion—and experiencing the heights of fulfilling professional achievement.

Patient satisfaction is at an all-time high, and that’s only the beginning. Discover flexible scheduling, shared governance and an inspiring place to learn and grow. Find out how you can Make It Possible in this specialty:
