Annual SPCN Educational Session – 2019

SPECIAL UPDATE:

Attention Pediatric Cardiovascular Nurses! Are you attending the AHA Scientific Sessions this November in Philadelphia? Plan to attend the Council on Cardiovascular and Stroke Nursing’s Meet and Greet on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 3:15 to 3:45pm in room 118C at the Philadelphia Convention Center. Meet your Council leaders and network at this  event!

Immediately following this event, stay for the Katherine A. Lembright lecture and the Martha N. Hill Early Career Investigator Award Competition. This year’s Martha N. Hill Early Career Investigator Award three finalists include a congenital heart disease focus…Jennie Peterson, PhD, RN will be presenting “Thriving in the Face of Uncertainty: Life Experiences of Adolescents with Single Ventricle Heart Disease” from 4:15 to 4:30pm in room 118C. Please come to support congenital heart research! The winner of this competition will be announced at the CVSN Council dinner on Saturday November 16 6:30pm to 10 pm.
